The opening event took place in the completely renovated lobby and Club Nomad. The highlight of the official opening occurred in the central hall, where key stakeholders spoke about the impressive transformation followed by the official ceremony. On the grandstand stairs in the central hall, the heart of the building, a spectacular musical performance took place, enhanced by abstract visuals that visualized the transformation and future of the building. Rotterdam artist Jackie Lou, under the direction of Steven Aswin, symbolically returned the building to the city, after which all attendees could experience the building in its new form.
