Larenseveld
In the Haven of Almere, we are developing 16 semi-detached homes and 35 single-family homes. In the plan, we take into account the existing green structures, giving this beautiful plan a solid green foundation.
The Larense Veld project is a large-scale initiative where three old sports fields in Almere Haven have been transformed into a new residential area. This project has been executed in three parts. For the first part, two companies, AM and Ballast Nedam, collaborated to build 51 houses. The following two parts were done solely by AM. Almere Haven is known for its beautiful green surroundings, and the new homes are also built within this green area.
In 2018, the first houses of the Larense Veld were sold. There were 35 terraced houses and 16 semi-detached houses, all built in the style of the 1930s, and they sold quickly. This success was repeated in the next two parts of the project, also designed by Schippers Architecten BNA. People who bought a house could choose how their house would look from the inside. They could finish it themselves or have the house delivered completely finished, with finished floors and walls. What makes the Larense Veld special is that it helps to make Almere Haven popular again as a nice place to live. Some people who had moved to Amsterdam first are now returning to Almere Haven. This area is known for its strong sense of community. There is even a local motorcycle club that is now part of the residential area and is looking for ways to connect with the new residents.
