The board of Ballast Nedam Development has been further strengthened with the appointment of Lars van Engelen as Chief Operational Officer (COO). With this addition, the board now consists of five members who are jointly responsible for the organisation’s strategy, innovation and operational management.
With the appointment of Lars van Engelen, Ballast Nedam Development brings on board an entrepreneurial and experienced professional who has proven himself for many years in real estate and area development. Lars van Engelen (40) began his career at CBRE and subsequently moved to Snippe Projecten, where in recent years he played a key role as Project Director and co-shareholder in Hyde Park in Hoofddorp—one of the largest inner-city residential developments in the Netherlands.
