Bird watching with largest mortgage lenders in the Netherlands
Early this morning, the largest mortgage lenders in the Netherlands gathered to spot birds with @Timo Roeke @Vogelbescherming. The breakfast was followed by a roundtable discussion to make the living environment more nature-inclusive, work on biodiversity awareness and remove (financial) barriers to achieve inter-sectoral linking opportunities.
This initiative, from the Agenda Nature Inclusive Domain Construction and Finance, was very well received with representation from nearly 80% of the mortgage market, including: ASN Bank, A.S.R., ABN AMRO, Mint mortgages, Rabobank and Triodos. As many as 17 bird species were spotted: the jackdaw, swift, house sparrow, collared parakeet, song thrush, blackbird, great tit, tree creeper, chiffchaff, lesser black-backed gull, Nile goose, black crow, wood pigeon, Turkish turtle, great spotted woodpecker, blackcap and blue tit.
